Nursing Services
Nursing services at Levin Family Health offer a range of routine and specialty services. These services include screening and recalls, triage, wound management, immunizations, cervical smears, plastering and fracture management, family planning, sexual health, nutrition, disease prevention, and nurse-led clinics for various conditions such as diabetes, smoking, asthma, and warfarin management.
Our nurses also offer simple vision testing, spirometry, counselling, travel advice including vaccinations, community nursing, support for at-risk youth and families, PRIME and on-call service, and teaching.
Patients can make appointments with nurses during normal working hours, although emergencies are seen without an appointment. The nurses can also be reached by phone for advice or test results.
We will be offering a daily Acute Walk-in Clinic between 9:00am - 11:00am which is first in first served - no appointment necessary. (This service is currently being finalized so will not running at the opening of the clinic, as we are working through the formalities of how this would work we ask for some patience around this proposition).
Please note, the Acute Walk-In clinic will be specifically for patients who need immediate attention for minor injuries and illnesses and not for long-term conditions.
